Salcam ornamental. Salcâm cu coroană rotundă în formă de umbrelă, altoit în tulpină înaltă. Frunzele sunt mici, intr-o nuanta de verde deschis. Salcamul Globular nu prezinta spini lungi ca si Salcamul Comun. Salcamul Globular este foarte rezistent la temperaturile scazute, seceta si la poluare. Plantarea lui trebuie facuta in locuri ferite de vanturi puternice. Este un arbore iubitor de caldura si lumina dar suporta si locurile cu semiumbra. Solurile preferate ale Salcamului Globular sunt usoare, nisipoase, afanate si nu umede in exces.
