Ficus Benjamina uimeste prin personalitatea impunatoare. Acest tip de ficus se adapteaza usor oricarui mediu si ocupa un rol important in incaperea care-l gazduieste atragand atentia prin forma si dimensiuni. Planta este originara din zonele tropicale ceea ce ne spune multe despre modul in care trebuie ingrijita. Ea iubeste lumina soarelui si nu trebuie udata decat o data pe saptamana pe timp calduros. Iarna si toamna intervalul poate fi marit chiar si la doua saptamani. Chiar daca am spus ca este o planta care iubeste soarele, asta nu inseamna ca o vom posta intr-o locatie aflata tot timpul sub razele directe ale acestuia. In acest mod ferim ficusul de arsuri și decolorari ale frunzelor. In partea opusa, daca planta va sta prea mult la umbra isi va pierde din numarul frunzelor. Pentru refacerea frunzisului il vom aseza in cel mai luminos loc posibil.
